COURSE OVERVIEW

The Early Childhood Care and Education Certificate is a program comprising 60 credit hours, designed to be completed in approximately 6 months. It aims to equip participants with the necessary knowledge, skills, and practical experiences to excel in diverse early childhood education environments, positively impacting the lives of young children and their families. This certificate program provides a thorough examination of fundamental principles and hands-on skills crucial for effective engagement with young children.   • Prospective participants should ideally have:

    • Completed A-Levels, 12th Grade, Intermediate, or an equivalent of 14 years of education from a recognized institution with at least a second division.
    • A patient demeanor and a genuine passion for working with children.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
    • The capacity to remain composed in stressful situations.
    • Language, literacy, and numeracy skills at a Year 12 high school level.
